FASTRFIRETM

A Bit of History...

I got the idea for FASTRFIRE while blowing on the coals of my backyard barbecue grill.  I knew there must be a simpler way.   In these days of "instant on", I wanted to be able to get a fire going NOW, but without all the chemicals, paper and other "not good for your health" and "not good for the environment" stuff.  I knew that in the olden days, a set of fireplace bellows was standard equipment in most homes. That product hadn't been updated in hundreds of years.

The more I thought about it, the more I thought that I could come up with a simple product--something that was hand-held, battery operated (to use outside) and capable of blowing a steady and substantial stream of air on a fire.  I found an industrial designer  in Boston who engineered the tiny motor and fan that is the heart of the system. He designed the unit with the right combination of nozzle size and air speed so that enough air is blown to make a fire come alive, but not so much that embers and ashes are scattered.  In the bargain, he came up with a product that looks great-- hanging from the grill with its handy built-in hook, or stored next to the fireplace.

So this became my little contribution to mankind -- FASTRFIRE, a battery powered bellows.

The response of our customers over the past few years has been enthusiastic, to say the least. I have been sending a warranty card out with every product. On that card I ask for an overall product rating from 1 (Low) to 10 (High). Twenty four percent (24%) of our respondents gave us a perfect 10! Our overall rating was an 8.4!  I also learned that people have come up with their own uses for FASTRFIRE--inflating a air mattresses, drying craft projects...you name it!

FASTRFIRE may not solve all your problems in life. But I do know that it will make having a natural fire a fun experience.

Some people are curious as to how long the batteries last. The two "D" cells last a long time. Usually through the season in which the product is used. Other people want to know what colors it comes in. Although some of the pictures show it as white, (it stands out better in a picture), the product itself is black, with an aluminum cone (I like Henry Ford's old saying: "You can have any color you want, so long as it's black.").

Barbecue season is coming up.  Order a FASTRFIRE today, and remember, it also makes a great gift.  While supplies last, a free chef's apron will be included with every FASTRFIRE shipped--see the Order page for details.

Thank you for your interest in FASTRFIRE. I hope that you become a part of that growing group of people who have discovered this unique product.  I know you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
